| + | Going caving on the possibly the hottest June day (ever?!) made for a very warm walk to the cave, with two of us opting to dowse ourselves with water pre cave. There was some water going into the cave which was a relief! Opting for the wet way to cool down we made quick progress to the 20, just missing out on a pre rigged ladder. I managed not to get baptised on double pots. We stopped at Tratmans to admire the formations, then continued on to the mud sump. The first 'not the mud sump' had more water in it than the mud sump itself and was a bit of a chilly soaking. Mud sump was open with just the bucket in the centre of it filled with water (at the weekend we were told by another caver that the bucket was empty so it had filled a bit after the rain) We reached Shatter pot and had a stop to look at the survey, then went to look at the South East Inlets.
